Evacanthus acuminatus
Length 5 to 7 mm. A large, distinctive leafhopper in which the male is distinctly brachypterous. There is a keel on the vertex, and a variably-shaped dark central marking on a pale background. The forewings are mottled brown and white, and are highly reflective.
Good quality photographs required.
In grassy places and wayside vegetation, often in woods.
Summer-Autumn.
Reasonably common and widespread in England but never abundant.
Uncommon in Leicestershire and Rutland.
