A long-standing Member of LROS and excellent all-round naturalist, Steve will begin his talk on the Ecology of Bradgate Park with an explanation of how the deer have literally shaped the landscape and created habitats for a wide range of other organisms. Some of the important birds will be mentioned but the focus will be on the overlooked creatures and their ecological relationships. The talk will highlight the work of some renowned scientists and naturalists who have been inspired by Bradgate Park.
