Caricosipha paniculatae

Description

An aphid with a flattened rounded body, associated with sedges.  The adult apterae are greenish with darker spots or blackish-brown. The legs, siphons and antennae are pale, and it is covered in dark bristly hairs.  The eyes are on short stalks projecting sideways.
