Macropsis fuscinervis

Description

A leafhopper associated with Aspen.  It is usually brown in general colouration, but occasionally individuals with bright yellow underparts and face are found.   The veins of the forewings are dark brown, and cells in the centre of the wing are hyaline; there is a dark patch around the m-cu veins of the forewing.  The face has a dark apical spot, and the vertex is sharply pointed.  There is a gap between the secondary tooth and primary teeth of the female left-median gonapophysis.
