Most likely to be found in areas where Echium species such as Viper's Bugloss are present.
Peak time is summer to early autumn.
Associated with Echium species such as Viper's bugloss.
Recorded mainly from southern and eastern England.
Very local in Leicestershire and Rutland and restricted by the presence of its food plants. Not recorded in neighbouring Warwickshire as at June 2014.
