Pink Purslane - Claytonia sibirica
Low, hairless plant. Basal leaves in lax rosette, oval, stalked. Stem leaves not closely united. Flowers, pink, rarely white 8 to 10 mm, the petals deeply notched.
Damp habitats, woods and shady stream banks on acid sandy soil.
April to July.
Annual
Naturalised and fairly widespread but local in Britain.
Uncommon and local in Leicestershire and Rutland. In the 1979 Flora survey of Leicestershire it was found in 6 of the 617 tetrads.
